Tube Socket

Description

This socket is used for tightening the “SlideStar Axle Kit” Nuts. This product is for people who already have 14 cm long T-Bar 8mm allen key. If you don’t have an allen key like that you will need this Tool Kit.

Nylock nuts eventually loose their grip… so we came up with a positive lock screw.

Correct assembly of the axle requires you to hold the nut still and tighten the screw to prevent it from coming undone whilst sliding.

• the tube socket reaches deep into dished rims with ease and allows the allen “T” bar to tighten the lock screw
• a spanner (to hold the tube socket) and T bar allen key also required ( see Tool Kit for descriptions and photos )
• double ended: the tube socket fits both 17mm and 19mm nuts
• allows tightening of the Slide Star positive lock nut and screw
