Over the past couple of weeks I’ve been working on installing the Italian made hub. I modified the plastic bearing housings to make it fit, and Presto!! Here is a Bika 48 spoke hub in a huffy slider fork.
This was to be my first Jdm car meet fitting that it be a jdmst show in the raw industrial setting of Melbourne’s docklands , waist land on a weekend and a hive of activity the rest !
The old school gets rocked out with highly restored and modified classics amongst highly sophisticated new tech sports cars .
The atmosphere is chilled just as the air temperature but that dose not stop all that come to look at others hard work and cleanliness knowing that the drive home, may bring all that undone for some!

This trike build was to get my first Disc brake nailed and use a 1 1/8 fork utilising the standard Huffy frame except for the “drop and stretch” .
Still utilising the Slide Star axle kit but this time I used a Aldi Green and Mean rear axle.
There is some bling on this trike including the Avid Elixir’3 fluid set up with Shimano quick release hub and Hayes 203mm stopper, Easton Vice headset and PRO frs bars with JetBlack blue grips, pegs are by G-sport and the self assembled blue alloy 20″rim is shod in a Maxxis Miracle 1.80″ for streamline low air drag as opposed to the 2.10″ I usually run.
This trike uses a 1″ 1/8 fork I grabbed off a BMX I had laying around, held in place with Slide Stars signature fork bearing mounts and deco bearings.
This was a late night project thought through and engineering elements from Steve K !!
