Description
This is the basic kit to get you rolling. It comes with
- Two axle tube extensions that you simply knock into your existing axle tube with a soft hammer or wood these are for the older type sliders and do work but are very difficult to install in the 2012-13 ( longer ) huffy sliders
- A custom fabricated axle, with thread on each end that will allow varying widths of hubs and front kart wheels
- Two nuts, designed using allen grub screws so that they don’t come undone while you’re sliding
- Two 5″ go-kart rims with used 10-4.5-5″ tyres approximately 250mm outside diameter
- and two spacers so that your axle fits properly

Get the tool… all of our axles have custom fabricated nuts which tighten with an 8mm allen key grub screw (sounds easy enough, I’m sure you have one from that last flat pack you put together) but you need to hold the nut in place with a 22mm spanner while you tighten it… and all of this is around 150mm from easy reach, inside the go-kart rim. It’s a little awkward! But we have created a simple tool to make this dead simple. You can find the tool back on the store or here.
The axles are sandblasted and primed ready for any colour you choose to paint them.
